Google has updated its News & Weather app to version 2.0 after several years when it was believed to be abandoned. The major update brings new design that now has white everywhere, instead of black. It now shows Google Now-style cards for weather information and news. It also introduces resizable homescreen widgets in 4×1 and 2×3 options.
