Hike Messenger ropes in former Motorola exec Rajesh Rudraradhya as VP

Hike Messenger announced that the company has appointed Rajesh Rudraradhya as the Vice President and Head of Engineering. Rajesh will report into Founder and CEO, Kavin Bharti Mittal and will be responsible for helping Hike scale its engineering team and streamlining product development.

hike, cross-platform messenger got $14M funding from Bharti Softbank (BSB) recently. hike crossed 15 million users in February and has over 80% user base under 25%. It has released new political sticker pack aimed at youth for the general election 2014. The pack includes stickers for Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and other generic stickers dedicated to elections. These are co-created with the youth, says hike. Hike messenger clocks 15 million users

Hike messenger by Bharti Softbank (BSB) has announced that it has crossed the 15 million users. It crossed 5 million users in just four months after its launch on 12th December 2012 and has tripled its user base within 9 months. The cross-platform messaging app that is targeted at youth introduced Last Seen Privacy, a new feature that lets users choose to share their  ‘Last Seen’ and ‘Status Updates’ with a chosen set of friends.
