Sanjay Jha, CEO of Motorola Mobility, recently confirmed to the press at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona that, the company will sell its first tablet device, without any contract for $799.
Last month, Motorola launched its much-awaited Xoom tablet at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. Motorola Xoom is the first tablet device powered by the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system. We finally have the specs of the Motorola XOOM Android Tablet which runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb designed for Tablets. It’s the world’s first Tablet to be powered by Android 3.- and boasts some impressive specs. But the specs are incomplete.

Motorola’s website just confirmed that that Tablet they are going to announce in a few minutes is the XOOM
The name was spotted on the coming soon page of the website. Looking from the screenshot , it’s clear that the tablet is running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
It is rumored to be running on Verizon’a LTE network

According to the rumors, Android Honeycomb will not only require a high resolution display with minimum requirement up to 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, but it will also require a dual core processor.
More than 40 tablets are expected to launch this week at the CES. Most of the tablets will be powered by the Google’s upcoming operating System, the Android Honeycomb. The only tablets that caught our attention are the Motorola Droid Xoom and Toshiba’s upcoming tablet with Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual core processor.
