HTC ChaCha was officially announced by HTC at MWC which features a dedicated Facebook button and a portrait QWERTY keyboard and it’s especially for people who can’t live without the world’s famous social network known as Facebook. A few days ago, it was launched by AT&T as HTC Status and it’s also AT&T’s first ever device debuting with Android 2.3 and they are offering it for $59 with a 2-yr contract. AT&T to launch Gingerbread update for all Android devices sold this year
If you live in USA and you recently bought an Android powered device from AT&T, then I got some good news for you. Today, AT&T officially announced that all Android phones sold in 2011 will receive Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. They announced that HTC Inspire 4G will receive it sometime in September and as you people may know that Atrix 4G recently received it, which means AT&T is on the roll at the moment. HTC Salsa hitting China as HTC Weike, launching as Weibo-centric device
Back at MWC earlier this year, HTC announced a lot of device and two out of them were HTC Salsa and HTC ChaCha/Status, also known as Facebook Phones. Facebook is the largest social network website in the world, with more than 750 million users. Both Salsa and Status are made for people who can’t live without Facebook and always want to stay updated with it (read our review for both device). AT&T launching LG Thrill 4G and HTC Status this month, BlackBerry Torch 4G in August?
AT&T is one of the largest US carriers and they are offering number of Android devices. Recently, they announced two new Android devices known as HTC Status and LG Thrill 4G. HTC Status is AT&T version of HTC ChaCha which is a small device that comes with a dedicated Facebook button. On the other side, Thrill 4G is AT&T version of LG Optimus 3D which is LG’s first ever device with 3D technology. AT&T launching HTC ChaCha as HTC Status, launching in coming weeks
HTC ChaCha was announced by HTC at the Mobile World Congress and it’s a good looking, cute little device. Recently, it was leaked with AT&T branding and we told you that AT&T will be launching it soon. Now BGR is reporting that AT&T will be launching it in coming weeks, probably after one week and AT&T will launch it as HTC Status, it’s not confirmed though.
