This week we saw one more device from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus dubbed the OnePlus X – company’s first mid-range device, second device launched this year, and the third in its portfolio overall. HTC reports $139 million net loss for Q3 2015, will stop earnings forecasts

HTC recently reported net loss of NT$4.48 billion (US$138 million) for Q3 2015 in its unaudited results, now in its consolidated results it has reported a net loss of NT$4.5 billion ($139 million), on revenue of NT$21.4 billion ($660 million) for its fiscal 2015 third quarter that ended September 30, 2015. After consecutive losses, HTC said it will no longer provide financial guidance for its business going forward. HTC set to release updated One M9+ and China only Butterfly 3 on September 29th

HTC had previously teased the announcement of two devices later this month on 29th. Many believed that they would be launching the HTC A9 Hero on that date and that the device would have two versions. However, a new leak confirms that HTC will be announcing an updated One M9+ and a Butterfly 3 at the event.

HTC posts $252.7 million loss for Q2, 2015, to slash 2,250 jobs as part of restructuring

HTC has posted $252.7 million loss for Q2, 2015 as against a net profit of $ 2.26 billion in the same period, last year. To combat poor sales and as a part of restructuring, the Taiwanese handsetmaker is also reducing its workforce by 15% globally that translates to 2,250 jobs.
