Huawei Ascend D2 hands-on

Huawei unveiled the Ascend D2 at the International CES 2013 earlier this month. We got you the hands-on images of the Ascend D2 already, here we have a video of the device. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS+ display with 443 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is IPX 5/4 compliant for dust and water resistance. Huwaei’s own 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor powers the smartphone, and it runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top, similar to the Ascend Mate.

Huawei Ascend D2 hands on Photo Gallery

Huawei announced the Ascend D2 the company’s latest Android Smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p display earlier today at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013. We got some hands-on time with the device, here are some images of the device. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 Huawei’s own processor. Huawei Ascend D2 announced at CES, 5 inch 1080p 1.5 GHz Quad core Android Jellybean

 

We have seen the leaks and we definitely saw this coming. Yes, Huawei has unveiled the new Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate at CES today, at their press conference. It has a 5 inch full HD 1080p screen, which means that it will join the ranks of HTC’s J Butterfly and many more Android devices to come this year. The phone sports a 1.5 GHz Quad core in house K3V3 processor and runs on Android Jellybean. The battery is rated at 3000 mAH and the device sports a 13 megapixel rear camera.

Huawei Ascend D2 caught in the wild, to be showcased at CES

Huawei had announced its first quadcore device, the Ascend D Quad last year at MWC, now its successor the D2 which is also a quadcore device, will be showcased at CES.

Huawei to unveil Ascend D2 with 5-inch 1080p display and Ascend W1 at CES 2013

Richard Yu, Senior Vice President of Huwaei has confirmed that the company would unveil the Ascend D2 Android Smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p (1920 × 1080 pixels) display and Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device at CES 2013. The Ascend D2 would be the successor of the Ascend D1 that was announced at MWC 2012. The Ascend W1 would be the company’s first Windows Phone 8 device.
