Huawei Honor 7 gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta update in India

Huawei has finally released the beta version of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the Honor 7 users in India. This update is available for only those who register for the OTA (over the air) using the Google Drive forum here with their current software version and IMEI. The company says that it will verify the information and will start pushing the OTA update for the users after 24 to 48 hours of submission. Android Marshmallow update for the Honor 7 smartphone brings EMUI 4.0 and several new features. Check out the change log below. Huawei Honor 7 enhanced version with Android 6.0, 32GB storage announced

Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China back in July and launched it in India in October. Today at the honor event the company introduced an enhanced version of the smartphone that has a smart key to give quick shortcuts. You can give voice commands to facilitate navigation, go running and more. It can only remind you if you have friends within your vicinity. Huawei has partnered with Baidu and will bring Siri-like features. Smart key will bring that up in the future. Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China back in July, and the international version of the smartphone was launched in Europe in August. Today the company has launched the Honor 7 in India. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC based on big.LITTLE configuration and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. The company has promised to roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the smartphone in beta in January and stable update will arrive in February 2016. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus that would let you focus a subject in just 0.1 second and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies even in poor lighting conditions.

Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China last month, now the company has launched the international version of the smartphone in Europe. At the launch George Zhao, president of honor said that honor will continue to invest in key markets such as India, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany and France and the United States. Huawei has announced Honor 7, the company’s latest smartphone in the Honor series, as expected. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC based on big.LITTLE configuration and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus that would let you focus a subject in just 0.1 second and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies.
