Huawei introduced Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design Mate 10 smartphones at an event in Germany back in October last year and the phone rolled out in November in several countries. At the CES 2018 the company announced that both the phones will be available int the U.S. from February. The company also announced that it has signed popular actress Gal Gadot as the company’s first Chief Experience Officer.

Huawei along with the Mate 10 also introduced Mate 10 Pro smartphone at its Germany event. It packs a 6-inch FHD+ FullView OLED 18:9 display with ultra narrow bezels. It is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 970 10nm SoC with i7 co-processor, dedicated neural network processing unit and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with Emotion UI 8.0 on top. It has Leica dual-lens camera with 12-megapixel RGB sensor, 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and 2x Hybrid Zoom, dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and Huawei’s own dual ISP. It also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Huawei at the IFA 2017 announced its flagship Kirin 970 10nm SoC with a dedicated neural network processing unit. At the end of the event it also confirmed that the Mate 10 series – Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro powered by Kirin 970 will be announced at an event in Munich, Germany on October 16th.
