After the announcement in China last month, HUAWEI has introduced the nova 9 smartphone for global markets, starting from Europe. It runs Android 11 with EMUI instead of Harmony OS 2 in China, but these don’t have Google Mobile Services like the HONOR 50 which was launched globally earlier this week. HUAWEI just announced nova 9 and nova 9 Pro, two new smartphones in the Nova series, in China. Both the phones feature a 6.57″ / 6.72″ FHD+ AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate and are powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC, but these only come with 4G support. These feature a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle, 2MP macro and 2MP depth-of-field cameras. The nova 9 has a 32MP front camera inside a punch-hole, and the pro version has an additional 32MP ultra-wide camera.
