At an event in New Delhi, we witnessed the launch of a new brand called Hyve Mobility. As part of its initial offering, the company plans to introduce two devices that sit within the highly lucrative sub 15,000 rupee price segment. Called the Hyve Buzz and Storm, the phones promise a lot to the price conscious buyer. We spent a bit of time with both and here’s what we thought of the phones. Hyve Mobility to launch flagship Android smartphone in India on June 15 (Update)

Update (June 7):  The event has been postponed to June 15th.

Hyve Mobility, a new smartphone company based in New Delhi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on June 2nd. The company is headed by Sharad Mehrotra, who was previously Apple India’s enterprise mobility head. He quit Apple in December 2015, after working there for almost 8 years and started Hyve Mobility in January 2016 to develop Android smartphones.
