Idea launches VoLTE services across six circles, offers 10GB free data

Couple of months back Idea Cellular started roll out of its VoLTE services in Maharashtra & Goa, Kerala, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana for its employees in the first phase. Today the company has started commercial roll out of VoLTE services across six circles  – Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai) & Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana , and, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Airtel and Idea to roll out VoLTE services across India by early 2018

Last year there was a report that said Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular were gearing up to launch VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) services to take on Reliance Jio who launched pan-India 4G LTE services with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) back in September last year. Now Airtel has announced that it will launch VoLTE services in the country by end of current financial year, which is by March 2018.
