The Canalys research firm has released Indian smartphone shipments report for Q3 2022. According to the research firm, India’s smartphone shipments fell by 6% YoY and were able to ship 44.6 million units. Indian smartphone shipments fell 5% QoQ in Q2 2022: Canalys

Canalys, an independent research firm, has published a report on smartphone shipments in the Indian market for the second quarter of 2022. According to the report, shipments were 36.4 million units, a 5% decrease from the first quarter of 2022. The good news is that the YoY (Year-on-Year) growth rate is up by 12%. Analysts believe that YoY increase is due to the second wave that hit us at the same time last year. As expected, Xiaomi led the smartphone market. India smartphone market records 8% YoY growth in Q3 2020, shipping 50 million units: Canalys

After a sharp decline during Q2 2020, the Indian smartphone market has made a strong recovery in the third quarter of 2020, recording a growth of 8% YoY and shipping about 50 million units according to a report from Canalys. Xiaomi continues to lead the market, followed by Samsung, Vivo, realme and OPPO.
