Intex has launched Cloud FX, the company’s first smartphone running on Firefox OS, as it promised back in June. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and comes with dual SIM support, similar to the Firefox reference design that was unveiled earlier this year. Earlier this week Firefox announced its partnership with Spice and Intex to launch ultra low-cost Firefox OS smartphones. Recently Spice said that it would launch Firefox OS-powered smartphones with dual SIM support by July 2014. Now Intex has announced that it plans to launch Firefox OS device, Cloud FX in August.
