In an interview with Finnish newspaper Kauppalehti , Marko Ahtisaari has confirmed that Nokia is working on their own tablet computer. It would not be wrong to guess that the tablet computer would run on the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.

Apple announced the next-gen iPad last night at an event in San Francisco and also reduced the price of the iPad 2 16GB version to $399 in the US. Today morning we heard from Apple India that the price cut is effective in India as well. The 16GB WiFi only version of the iPad 2 is now available for Rs.24500. The 16GB WiFi+3G version now retails for Rs.32900.Apple has not yet declared the Indian pricing for the third generation iPad which packs a Retina display. It will reveal the Indian pricing closer to the launch. Don’t head out to the stores now and expect the new pricing for the new iPad 2 to be effective immediately as it might take a few days for the news to be communicated to the retail network. Couple of Apple Stores we spoke to were selling the iPad 2 at the same old price as of today morning.
At an event in San Francisco , Apple just announced the next version of its revolutionary tablet. Powering it is the new A5x chip which comes with quad core graphics and will be used to push graphics to the all new 2048 x 1536 “Retina Display”.

Apple has announced the new iPad today with a bunch of new features and surprisingly , the old iPad or the iPad 2 is not going away from the shelves. Apple has announced that the 16GB Wi-Fi version of the iPad 2 will get a $100 price cut starting today and will start selling at $399 instead of the usual $499. The new iPad will start at $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version. If you wanted to get an iPad and are willing to spend only about $400 , now is a great time to pick one up. But if you are a techie who lives in the cutting edge of technology , save up that extra $100 and get yourself the new iPad. It should be totally worth it. Apple have been fighting a case in China because of the iPad from a long time now, and finally the Cupertino company can breath a sigh of relief as finally the case is coming to its end, now Shanghai court has given Apple the green signal to Apple to sell iPads over there.
Proview had filed a case against Apple saying that they had the rights for the name “iPad” and said that no iPads can go outside China or can be sold there, this had caused many problems because iPads and almost all the Apple products are manufactured in China and there will be a shortage of iPads if the iPad got banned in China. Anyways things are looking up for Apple, and hope they have settled the matter with Proview after all. Soon we will be seeing the launch of the iPad 3 hopefully in March 1st week. Anyways there is still speculation that the iPad might get banned in southern China, but that is still to see.

We all know that the iPad 3 is on it’s way, but there has also been loads of news going around about Apple fighting a case against a company called Proview. Proview here is saying that the rights for the brand “iPad” was reserved for them and Apple has no right to sell or take any products named iPad out of China. And because of all these problems Apple has asked Amazon to pull out iPad from the Amazon product listing in China.

We’ve had numerous rumors surrounding the launch date of Apple’s next generation iPad. But now it seems we have a different launch date according to sources.
Apple posted record breaking earnings for it Q1 2012 quarter which ended on Dec 31, 2011 clocking $46.33 billion with a profit of $13.06 billion.It managed to see 37.04 million iPhones , 15.43 million iPads and 15.4 million iPods and 5.2 million Macs. Apple might open it’s own Retail Stores in India soon according to a report by LiveMint which quotes an unnamed source in a government body Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion. The Indian government has approved 100% Foreign Direct Investment FDI in Single Brand Retail recently. So such a move by Apple will not be surprising,as they have massive expansion plans for Asia. Apple has not commented much about India in particular in the past but the quick launch of the iPad 2 with decent pricing and iPhone 4S with crazy pricing are indications of things to come. Earlier, we brought you the news that next year, the iPad launch might take place on February 24th, Steve Jobs birthday. Rumors state that next year, Apple is going to give us not one but two new iPads.
