Believe it or not , the Apple iPad is the latest craze and it’s selling like hot cakes. In fact Apple announced today that it has sold 2 million iPads so far since the official shipping date of April 3rd.
The iPad does lack features like Flash , Multitasking but whats even more interesting is the rise of iPad clones like the APad China iPad which are selling at a fraction of the cost of the original device and running Android.
Jesse Rosten has managed to create a really interested video in which he put’s the iPad on a variety of places including a car dashboard, bike, kitchen, wall and the best one – a ceiling so that you can turn the iPad into a ceiling mounted TV. He just uses the Industrial Strength Velcro tape to make this possible
We are not sure if this hack would end up smashing your face or the iPad but it’s certainly fun watching
Revision3 is an online TV channel which hosts shows such as Diggnation , ROFL and Tekzilla. They were using a Flash based Video player till now which meant that none of their videos would play on the Apple iPad. Now the company announced that they are using HTML5 in the iPad version which means all those shows should play totally fine on your iPad . WePad which is a Intel based Android Tablet competing with the iPad has renamed it’s product as WeTab. The reason the company states is that they want clearly differentiate their products within the international market for tablet computers. Specs wise the WeTab looks impressive . But why this move ? Is Apple to blame ?

Apple just announced that after a successful start in USA, the iPad is now going on sale in 9 more countries Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK from May 28. Users in these countries can pre-order the device online starting from May 10.

Meet the APad the Chinese clone of the Apple iPad and it does not run some dumb piece of software like Chinese clones . In fact the reason it’s called APad is because it runs on Android OS. The success of the Apple iPad might speed up the production look alike tablet devices and the APad looks too good to be true.
