We recently got in the Pad Pivot for review and decided to give it a spin. What’s a Pad Pivot ? You might want to call it yet another stand for the Apple iPad but you’d be surprised to know how nifty this little device actually is.


The Pad Pivot started off as a Kickstarter project but became popular enough to hit retail. Barnes and Noble takes on the Amazon Kindle Fire with Nook HD and Nook HD+

Barnes and Nobles was recently in the lime light for making a partnership deal with Microsoft with respect to the “Nook” category of devices the book giant produces. We were wary of what the outcome might be, but in an obvious move, they are trying to battle their competitors again, with the announcement of the new Nooks, name the Nook HD and the Nook HD+. Next generation iPhone to support global 4G LTE reports WSJ

The Wall Street Journal reports that the next generation iPhone will include worldwide 4G LTE support. The new iPhone is widely expected to pack in LTE radios like the 3rd generation iPad. The current iPad only supports two LTE frequencies and automatically shifts to the lower speed HSPA+ networks.

Apple App Store crosses 650,000 apps, pays out $5.5 billion to developers

As part of its earnings call, Apple revealed that it now has over 650,000 applications on the App Store. These include approximately 250,000 applications specifically optimized for the iPad according to Peter Oppenheimer. Having sold over 17 million iPads in the last quarter, we can only expect the number of optimized apps to increase.

Apple iPad 3 Review ( 3rd Generation 4G+WiFi )

Apple announced the new iPad on 8th March that goes on Sale in India on 27th April. The external design of the new iPad doesn’t differ from the iPad 2, but the internals have been refreshed. It has an A5x chip which comes with quad-core graphics, Retina display and a better 5MP camera with 1080p video recording. New iPad coming to India on April 27th, starts at Rs.30,500


Apple has just announced that the New iPad would be available in India on 27th April 2012. The New iPad would be available in South Korea incuding Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela on Friday, April 20. It will be available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand on beginning on Friday, April 27. Instagram opens sign up page for Android users

The long awaited version of Instagram for Android is right around the corner as was revealed by co-founder Kevin Systrom at SXSW. In anticipation for the impending release , Instagram has opened up a sign up page so that Android users will be notified as soon as the app goes live on the store.

Instagram is an incredibly popular photo sharing service which lets users apply filters to images. Used by over 27 million users, the service has so far been an iOS exclusive. Systrom has previously claimed that the Android app is even better than the much lauded iOS application. There is no set date for the application to go live but you can sign up at the link below to be informed about it as soon as it does.

Apple : Three million iPads sold in 3 days

Apple just announced that it has sold 3 million iPads since its launch on Friday , March 16th. The new iPad features a new Retina Display alongside an improved A5x chip with quadcore graphics. LTE capabilities are also included in this 3rd generation model.
