According to Digitimes Research , close to 24 million iPhone 4G / HD units are going to be shipped by Foxconn this year. The company is known to manufacture iPhones and other Apple products. Last year an employee of the company committed suicide after losing an iPhone prototype. Foxconn is expected to ship 4.5 million units initially and 19.5 million units later . All of you might have seen the iPhone 4G pictures from Vietnam and now we have found some comparison pictures of the iPhone 4G or HD next to the 3GS .What’s interesting is that the new iPhone looks a bit smaller than the old one and its slightly thinner too.
We have heard rumours going around that the next generation of Apple iPhone ie the iPhone 4g/HD will be launched on the Verizon network. But there are other contradicting rumours that say that the iPhone will be exclusive to AT&T till 2011 at least.
The Apple iPhone HD/4G was leaked again in Vietnam. The pictures showed the internal parts of the phone too.
One more iPhone 4G prototype has shown up now in Vietnam and it looks exactly same as the one ripped apart by Gizmodo last month. This looks like the final hardware of the iPhone 4G and the phone is running some basic software for testing and not iPhone 4.0 OS. According to the rumors, Apple may unveil its next generation at an Apple event on June 22 at Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco. However, Apple’s hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date.
We have already posted that Apple may launch two different versions of iPhone this year. The next generation iPhone maybe named as iPhone HD while a CDMA version may be launched for Verizon. It is rumored that iPhone 4G might be having a front-facing camera since a small hole appears on the iPhone 4G faceplate next to the top speakers. It is even rumored that the iPhone 4G display will have the same IPS display, which have been used for the iPad.
