It’s official ! Finally after a long wait the official downloads of iPhone 3.0 are being rolled out as we speak.Saw this in my iTunes just now. I have added direct links in case you wish to download the software using your download manager.Remember you gotta have iTunes 8.2 to run this update.

Apple’s App Store Soon to hit 1 Billion Downloads!

I just stumbled over the iTunes page and got to know about the celebration Apple is preparing for.

Yes, Apple will soon cross one billion downloads of applications available across Apps store and then it would be celebrating the 1 billion apps download mark by giving away huge amount of gifts. There is a counter running on the iTunes page with the live number of total apps downloaded, a screenshot of which could be seen on the top of this post. Nokia Ovi Store vs Apple App Store – an indepth comparison

Since Nokia announced the Ovi store at the Mobile World Congress this year, speculations have been rife about the success of this store in comparison to the already well-established and popular App Store from Apple. The N97 will be the first phone integrated into the service, with the remaining phones following when the system goes live in May.

We take a deeper look at the speculations and give you an insight into what’s in store for the end-user and beneficiary of what is clearly the big software battle between two giants.

First the similarities: Both Apple and Nokia offer a 70% revenue share to developers.

Differences: Apple began its App Store as a request from the public and developers to be allowed to develop products for the iPhone while Nokia is opening an application store to stream revenue into the company with a share of app sale prices, and to potentially push the sales of cellphones and smartphones.

Step 1: Get latest version iTunes (8.0.2.20) is the version we tested the hack on.

Set the country to USA using the dropdown at the bottom

Step 2 : Search for mocha vnc lite in the iTunes Store

Step 3 : Click on the free vnc lite app to download it .

You will be asked to sign-in to your itunes account.
