A newly surfaced sketch shows us what is alleged to be the render of the upcoming Huawei P9 smartphone which is the successor to the P8. Judging by the sketch, Huawei seems to be going for a slightly rounder design overall.

Huawei has announced Kirin 950 SoC at an event in Beijing today. It is an Octa-Core SoC with four ARM Cortex A72 Cores that can be clocked up to 2.53 GHz and four ARM Cortex A53 Cores that can be clocked up to 1.8 GHz. It is based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture so it can alternate between the Cortex A72 or A53 cores depending on the type of tasks. Only one day to go before Huawei announces their latest Kirin 950 SoC based on the big.LITTLE architecture. We already showed you the leak of the Mate 8 and it’s specs on a benchmark page however, we didn’t get any scores until now.
A new Huawei handset has popped up on GFXBench under the alias NXT-AL10. The specifications do reveal a handset that is very similar to the rumoured specifications for the upcoming Mate 8 smartphone from Huawei.
