Lava has finally rolled out Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update for its Iris X8 smartphone. The smartphone was launched back in February earlier this year running Android 4.4 (KitKat), and the company had promised to offer Android Lollipop update for the smartphone at that time. To remind you, the Iris X8 has a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.4 GHz Octa-Core processor, 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and 3-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with expansion slot and a 2500mAh battery.
