LG G Pro 2 is the successor of the LG G Pro and is LG’s answer to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The LG G Pro 2 is a worthy competitor to the Galaxy Note 3 and a healthy successor to the original G Pro, but retains too much of G Pro in it to be the device to beat this summer. The LG G Pro 2 comes with top of the shelf specifications including a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB RAM and a 5.9inch Full HD True IPS LCD display.

LG has officially launched the G Pro 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series and the successor of the G Pro. It packs a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with 3.3 mm narrow bezel, powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). LG G Pro 2 now available in India for Rs. 49900
LG G Pro 2 that was unveiled back in February is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. Yesterday retailer Mahesh Telecom said that the G Pro 2 (LG D838) would be priced at Rs. 49,900 (MOP) in India and the MRP would be Rs. 51,500. LG unveiled the G Pro 2, the company’s latest phablet back in February ahead of MWC 2014 and it started rolling out in Asia starting from last month. Now Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the G Pro 2 (LG D838) would be priced at Rs. 49,900 (MOP) in India and the MRP would be Rs. 51,500. LG G Pro 2 global roll out begins starting from Asia
LG unveiled the G Pro 2, successor of the G Pro ahead of Mobile World Congress last month. It went on sale in Korea at the end of February, even before it was showcased at the MWC. The company today announced that it has started selling the smartphones in Asian markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippine, Vietnam and Indonesia. It was showcased at the LG Tech Show 2014 event in India earlier this month, but the company did not reveal the launch date of the yet. LG G Pro 2 might be unveiled on February 13th in Korea
LG has scheduled an event in Korea on February 13th, reports the ZDNET Korea. The invite just says knock-knock knockin’ on, which doesn’t reveal what we could see at the event. The LG G2 had Knock ON, double tap to wake up feature, which was very useful to unlock the phone since the phone had rear buttons. So the G Pro 2 would obviously have this feature. LG G Pro 2 reportedly has a 5.9-inch 1080p display with 77.2% screen to body ratio
Last week LG confirmed that it would launch the LG G Pro 2, successor of the LG G Pro later this month. According to a report by Korea’s Fnnews, the G Pro 2 would feature a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display with a screen-to-body ratio of 77.2%, better than the LG G2 which has screen-to-body ratio of 76.4%. Last week LG confirmed that it would launch the LG G Pro 2, successor of the LG G Pro later this month. The company did not reveal the specifications or image of the device at that time. Last week images of the G Pro 2 appeared online showing G2-like rear-mounted power button and volume keys. Today LG has confirmed that it would have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer or optical image stabilization) capabilities.
