LG has launched its flagship V20 smartphone in India as it had promised. It has a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Quantum display, a 2.1 second (160 x 1040 pixels) screen, similar to the V10. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 75-degree lens, f/1.8 aperture, OIS and Hybrid Auto Focus (HAF) integrating three AF mechanisms – Laser Detection AF, Phase Detection AF (PDAF) and Contrast AF – for both videos and photos along with a 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 135-degree lens for capturing wide shots. LG V20 launching in India soon at a price of Rs. 54999
LG is finally launching V20, its flagship ‘V Series’ smartphone in India soon. It will be available at Rs. 54,999 (MOP) and the MRP of the phone will be Rs. 60,000, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The retailer has also revealed new assured exchange program that would let you exchange your old Samsung Galaxy S7 edge for Rs. 27,000 or the iPhone 6S 128GB version for Rs. 32,000. LG V20 vs Samsung Galaxy Note7 – What’s Different?
The LG V10 was probably one of the closest competitors to the Samsung Galaxy Note5 as well as the S6 edge+. The Note5 wasn’t made available in every region but at least the S6 edge+ was there to take its place in such regions. The V10 on the other hand too had limited availability but none to take its place. However, this time around, LG seems to be betting hard on the V20 especially since the V10 was received well and the fact that Samsung is still sorting out the battery issues with the Note7. LG just announced V20, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the ‘V series’ at an event in San Francisco. It has a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Quantum display, a 2.1 second (160 x 1040 pixels) screen, similar to the V10, but this is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with LG UX 5.0+. It is also the first phone to use Google’s In Apps that helps users find content from built-in apps including contacts, emails, text messages and photos and user-installed apps. LG says that that second screen has improved in visibility with double the brightness and 50% larger font size compared to the V10.
