LG webOS 6.0 update brings new voice assistant functionalities, updated home screen and more

LG’s webOS software for its Smart TVs is well known for its great intuitive UI, easy navigation and app support. The company has just announced a new version for the software — webOS 6.0 for its 2021 OLED, QNED Mini LED, NanoCell and UHD smart TVs, bringing with it new changes to the UI, a Magic Explorer feature, additional voice commands for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and more.

LG partners with Qualcomm to develop webOS Auto in-vehicle infotainment

LG Electronics (LG) and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. have announced today their partnership to further develop LG’s connected in-vehicle infotainment system, webOS Auto. The partnership aims to integrate the features of LG’s webOS and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Automotive Development Platform (ADP) to create a more convenient experience for drivers and passengers.
