Samsung and LG may not go for 4K displays in 2016

Samsung and LG will not join the race to put 4K displays on the their phones, as per new reports from South Korea. The report citing trusted sources said that both the companies might opt to skip 4K or Ultra HD for their smartphones in 2016.

JDI in talks with Apple to provide OLED displays for iPhones in 2018

Marshmallow update rolling out to LG G4 in some parts of Europe

The LG G4 is one of the first Android smartphones outside the Nexus and Android One family to receive the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The roll out began in the later half of October with G4s in Poland getting the update first. Now, the update is apparently hitting the G4 across parts of Europe.

Hands On: Google goes premium with the Nexus 5X and 6P

Hardware and software make the product but it is the experience that sells the idea behind it. An ideology well adopted by Apple and the iPhone and now by Google to an extent. Today’s Nexus devices are no longer developer devices, no longer showcases of how Android can scale down and certainly not a showcase of delivering high end hardware for a low low cost. No, this is a revised Nexus experience that is all about the premium and proving that Google is very capable of being competitive.  At the company’s event held in New Delhi we got to spend some quality time with the two handsets, enough to get an initial idea of how good or bad the product really is. LG Nexus 5x all set to launch in India on 13th October

The darling of the Android world, the Nexus 5 finally saw an update earlier this month when Google announced the new LG Nexus 5x. Of course, the first question that accompanies such a launch is regarding launch details for India. So when we received this not so mysterious invitation, there’s no doubt that we were ecstatic over the prospective launch of the new Nexus devices in India, particularly the LG made Nexus 5x. As LG proudly claims on their website, it appears that the all-around champion is back.
