Huawei has partnered with Microsoft and also Microsoft’s LinkedIn for Mate 10-series which was announced earlier this week. As a part of the partnership with Huawei, Microsoft will deliver world’s first fully neural on device translations in the Microsoft Translator app for Android which is customized for the Huawei Mate 10 series. And, LinkedIn is now integrated within EMUI 8.0 OS.

LinkedIn launches LinkedIn Lite Android app in India

LinkedIn finally hits 500 million member milestone, India user base hits 42 million

LinkedIn has announced that it finally has 500 million members spread across 200 countries. India continues to be LinkedIn’s largest market in APAC, and the second largest globally after USA. The largest professional social network has registered over 40% growth in India the past two years with a user base of more than 42 million members.

Microsoft officially completes $26.2 billion LinkedIn acquisition

LinkedIn India has 26 million users, 43% of traffic comes from mobile

With 26 million users, India has the second largest user base of LinkedIn behind the US. The largest professional social network said that India accounts for 8.6% of the global user base. In February, LinkedIn announced that it had 24 million users in India, which means the social network garnered about 2 million users in four months. The company also stated that more and more users are accessing the social network on their mobile.

LinkedIn adds profile redesign for Premium users

LinkedIn is following footsteps of Facebook and Twitter by giving its user profile a makeover. Now, premium account users on LinkedIn can add background images to their profile pages which is similar to Facebook’s and Twitter’s cover photo feature. Users can either upload their own image, or select from a gallery of header images provided by LinkedIn.

LinkedIn crosses 300 million members globally

LinkedIn has announced that is has surpassed 300 million registered users from 200 countries across the globe. Out of these 300 million members, 67% actually comes from outside the United States. The professional social network touted that it has added more than 23 million members since December 31, 2013.
