At the Mobile World Congress, Microsoft revealed two new mid range handsets. The Lumia 640 and 640 XL are two variants of practically the same phone with the key difference being the size and we feel that this is a very wise move. Microsoft just announced the Lumia 640 XL, a larger variant of the Lumia 640 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona. It has a 5.7-inch HD display, comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but this is powered by the same quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1.
