MacBook Air with M2 goes on pre-order starting July 8, available from July 15

Apple introduced its new MacBook Air, powered by the new M2 chip last month. At that time, the company said that it will be available from July. Today, the company confirmed that the new MacBook Air will be available to order worldwide, including India, starting Friday, July 8 at 5 a.m. PDT /5:30 PM IST. Apple introduces new MacBook Air with 13.6″ display, M2 chip, new design; India price starts at Rs. 1,19,900

Apple at its WWDC event introduced its new MacBook Air powered by the new M2 chip, as expected. It has an 8-core CPU offering up to 18% faster CPU performance than the previous generation and the new 10-core GPU is up to 35% more powerful, and has a 40% faster Neural Engine, says Apple. It supports up to 24GB of fast unified memory, and adds a next-generation media engine and a powerful ProRes video engine for hardware-accelerated encode. Apple expected to launch new MacBook Air and 13″ MacBook Pro with M2 Chip later this year

Apple appears to be preparing to announce an improved MacBook Air and a 13-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the all-new M2 CPU.
