MapmyIndia partners with Ford for Applink, now offers local search and directions to POIs

You can add up to 3 people to locate, set/configure times and days of the week when their friends/family can locate them. MapmyIndia launches CarPad powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor

MapmyIndia, popular for its GPS navigation devices, has launched CarPad in partnership with Qualcomm that runs on Android 2.2 (FroYo). The CarPad could be mounted on the font or back seat of the car and it could be used both for navigation and entertainment. It has 7 inch Capacitive Display, and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor. It also has 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS with MapmyIndia’s Aura 3D navigation interface. Motorola Milestone comes with lifetime free access to voice-guided street-level maps of 401 cities in India

The Moto Droid was launched in USA last year with Google Turn-by-Turn navigation , it’s not available in India as of now. But Motorola has joined hands with local maps company MapMyIndia to offer lifetime free access to fully voice-guided street-level navigable maps of 401 cities in India
