Earlier this week Xiaomi announced a launch event in New Delhi on September 5th to introduce a new flagship dual camera smartphone. Today the company said that the smartphone will be available in India exclusively on Flipkart. It also engaged in a twitter conversation today with celebrities Parineeti Chopra, Daboo Ratnani, Ayushman Khurana and Hardik Pandeya.
Xiaomi just announced the Mi 5X, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile platform, runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) based on MIUI 8 and will get MIUI 9 update. Details about Redmi 5 surfaced last week. Now promo images for the upcoming Mi 5X has surfaced in China. This reveals the smartphone with a unibody metal design and dual rear cameras with optical zoom and dual-tone LED flash that coincides with the image that had surfaced earlier.
