Micromax launched Canvas Laptab, a 2-in-1 with inbuilt 3G SIM support running Windows 8.1 back in April. Today the company has announced that all new Canvas LapTab units will come pre-loaded with Windows 10. Microsoft released Windows 10 for all existing users running on Windows 7 and later on July 29th. The Canvas LapTab has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Micromax has launched Canvas Laptab, its latest Windows 8.1 2-in-1 with inbuilt 3G SIM support. The company introduced a dual boot tab last year at the CES, which did not launch. This has a similar design, but it runs only on Windows 8.1 and has better specifications. It has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with Office 365 subscription and also has a keyboard that has a touchpad so that it can double up as a laptop. Micromax has partnered with Amazon India to sell the Laptab. Micromax Canvas LapTab to launch under Rs. 30000
Micromax unveiled the Canvas LapTab, the company’s first dual-boot Android and Windows 8.1 tablet at the CES 2014 last week. Now PTI reports that the tablet would be priced under $500 or Rs. 30,000 when it launches in India sometime in Q1 2014. The Canvas LapTab has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS touch screen display, powered by a 1.46 GHz Intel Celeron N2805 processor along with 2GB of RAM.
