Microsoft recently launched the Windows Phone Home Server (WHS) Connector for handsets running on its Windows Phone 7 OS. The connector allows users to extend their Home Server to the handset. The application allows you to stream data from WHS to your handset over the internet.

Samsung upcoming WP7 Mango device revealed by Microsoft

A few days ago, we reported that Samsung will be launching the WP7 version of Galaxy S II and it will be Samsung’s first ever Mango device and guess what? Microsoft officially unveiled the Samsung upcoming device during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner conference this Tuesday and the device looks a lot like the SGS2. As you can in the image above, it features three traditional WP7 buttons (Home, Back, Search) and you can see it’s running on WP7. Nokia holding an event next week, WP7 devices announcement?

Bing to be Default Search Engine on BlackBerry devices

Wow , what a surprise , at the BlackBerry World keynote today. Joining RIM Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis was Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to announce a strategic partnership with RIM. Bing will be the Default Search Engine on all Blackberry Devices. We also saw a mention of Bing Maps which confirms that Bing will also be integrated deeply into the BlackBerry OS. Microsoft showed a video promo of the integration which we will be uploading soon.  We also saw a demo of Bing Search on a Torch 9800 and it looks inspired by the Metro UI by Windows Phone 7
