Motorola along with the Moto G6 also launched the Moto G6 Play, a budget smartphone in the Moto G series in India as it had promised. The successor of 2016’s Moto G4 Play packs a 5.7-inch HD+ Max Visiondisplay, is powered by a Snapdragon 430 with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that also comes with LED flash. Moto G6 with 5.7-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras and Moto G6 Play with 4000mAh battery launching in India on June 4

Update: Motorola India has just sent out invites for the launch of G6 and G6 Play on June 6th. It also confirmed that the G6 will be launched exclusively on Amazon India and the G6 Play will be available exclusively on Flipkart online. Both these will also be available through Moto Hub Stores.

Moto G6, G6 Plus, G6 Play, E5 and E5 Plus with 18:9 displays, fingerprint sensor, Android 8.0 Oreo announced

Motorola just announced the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play smartphones in the Moto G6 series and the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus smartphones in the Moto E series at an event in Brazil. Moto G6 Play with 5.7-inch 18:9 display, 4000mAh battery surfaces in live images

Moto G6 Play in the Moto G6 has surfaced in live images, weeks after it was listed  online. This confirms specifications of the smartphone including 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 display, 1.4GHz Octa-Core SoC with 3GB RAM, Fingerprint sensor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, both with LED flash, Dual nano SIM slots and a 4000mAh battery with support for TurboPower fast charging.

Moto G6 Plus with 5.93-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM and Moto G6, Moto G6 Play renders, detailed specifications surface

Details about the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play surfaced earlier this year. The Moto G6 got certified in China. Now all the three smartphones have been listed on an Hungarian site with images and full specifications. This reveals 18:9 display and front LED flash for all the smartphones, dual rear cameras and front-mounted fingerprint sensor for the G6 and G6 Plus and rear mounted fingerprint sensor on the Moto logo on the Moto G6 Play.
