It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 processor, runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual autofocus pixels plus laser autofocus that promises good low-light shots. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and has dual-tone LED flash for both front and rear cameras. Moto Z2 Play launching in India on June 8
Motorola announced the Moto Z2 Play smartphone last week. Today it has announced that it will launch the smartphone in India on June 8th and also said that the smartphone will be available for pre-booking on the same day. It will also have pre-booking offers such as interest-free EMIs for 10 months, if you pre-book the phone for Rs. 2000, free Moto Armor Pack that comes with protective accessories and offers on Moto Mods.

Moto Z2 Play retail box, live images and press shots surface ahead of announcement on June 1
Moto Z2 Play got certified by TENAA last week. Moto Z2 Play with 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 5.99mm slim metal body gets certified
Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced last month, and the specifications of the smartphone were revealed by @evleaks earlier this month. Now the smartphone has been certified by China’s TENAA confirming the specifications and also reveals the model number as XT1710. Lenovo even confirmed that the smartphone will have a 3000mAh battery in tweet to a user, compared to 3510mAh battery on the Moto Z Play. Moto Z2 Play specifications surface – 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 626, 4GB RAM
Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced a few weeks back showing off its metal design, fingerprint sensor on the front and dual-tone LED flash for the front camera. Thanks to @evleaks, we now have the specifications of the phone. According to the leak, the phone is expected to pack the same 5.5-inch 1080p display, but the battery will be reduced from 3510mAh to 3000mAh, which is a bummer since the battery life on the Moto G5 Plus with the same display size and battery is not impressive when compared to the Z Play.
Moto Z2 Play surfaces in first press render
First press render of Moto Z2 Play has surfaced online, after renders of Moto Z2 Force and other upcoming Moto smartphones surfaced recently. The image shows a similar design as last year’s Moto Z, but the fingerprint sensor is larger, similar to the Moto G5 series of phones to offer easy navigation using One button nav feature.
