Motorola is the fourth largest smartphone vendor by shipments in Q2 2014, overtaking Nokia (Microsoft), according to handset sales tracker Canalys. Few months back Motorola announced that it shipped 6.5 million smartphones globally in Q1 2014. According to the report, Motorola shipped 379,310 units of smartphones in India in Q1. The company did not reveal its global shipment data for Q2 yet, but the Canalys report says Motorola has shipped 955,650 units in the Q2 2014. German court has ordered Motorola to stop smartphone sale over the infringe on an antenna design patent. The Mannheim Regional Court has ordered to cease all Moto X and Moto G sales in Germany, as the company is allegedly infringing on antenna related patents held by German firm LPKF Laser & Electronics.
