2nd Gen Moto X 2014 receives Android 6.0 Marshmallow Certification – Update imminent
The 2nd generation Motorola Moto X that was released in 2014 was released running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat but eventually got the update to Android 5.1 Lollipop via an OTA update. Now, we have good news as the device has now been certified to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Motorola Moto X Play Review
This is the third year running that Motorola have announced updates in the Moto X series of smartphones. However, this year is a little bit different as they introduced not one but 2 new smartphones in the X series. The first is a high-end model known as the Moto X Style and the second is a mid-ranger known as the Moto X Play. The X Play was recently launched in India at really competitive prices i.e Rs 18,499 for the 16GB version and Rs 19,999 for the 32GB version. The features and specifications promise to put up a fight with the other contenders in this price range. Let us take a closer look and see whether the phone lives up to expectations.

Android Wear heads to China, Moto 360 to lead the charge
Google has for the most part kept its distance from China, a market that has perhaps one of the largest user base of Android running devices. Government censorship and strict crackdowns mean that Google had to opt out from providing the Play Store and accompanying services in the country. This also meant that Android Wear watches that are heavily dependent on said services just wouldn’t work in China and so were never sold. This is about to change. Motorola Moto X Play Hands On : First Impressions
At the Lenovo event last night in Berlin, we were able to go hands on with one of the new Moto X smartphones – the Moto X Play. The Moto X Play is a device with lesser power as compared to the Moto X Style but it comes with a 21 Megapixel camera sensor as well as a beefy 3630 mAH battery.
