Amazon has launched New Kindle Paperwhite e-reader with a 6-inch screen at 300 PPI pixel density, similar to the Kindle Voyage. The 2nd generation Kindle Paperwhite has a 6-inch 212 ppi screen. It also has new Kindle font Bookerly, an exclusive font designed from the ground up for reading on digital screens and all-new typesetting engine that lays out words just as the author intended, which dynamically adjusts the layout as the reader changes the text size. Amazon’s New Kindle Paperwhite available in India for Rs. 8999 for a limited period

Amazon launched its New Kindle Paperwhite earlier this year priced at Rs. 10,999. It is now available for Rs. 8,999 on Amazon in India for a limited period.  The 2nd generation Paperwhite was announced back in September 2013 and has a the same 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 212 PPI pixel density with built-in light. It has a new display technology with higher contrast, the next generation built-in light, 25% faster processor and new touch technology with 19% tighter touch grid so that it respond even more accurately to the smallest touches. Amazon launched the first Paperwhite in India back in June 2013. The New Kindle Paperwhite that was launched in India last month is now on sale in India. The 2nd generation Paperwhite that was announced back in September 2013  has a the same 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 212 PPI pixel density and a built-in light similar to the first generation Kindle Paperwhite, but this has a new display technology with higher contrast, the next generation built-in light, a faster processor and new touch technology.
