Nokia’s return to the hardware market looks set to become official later this month as the N1 tablet will begin shipping in China on January 28th. Pre-orders for the Nokia N1, which is manufactured by Foxconn and sold under the Nokia brand, will begin tomorrow and the N1 tablet will cost 1599 RMB (equivalent to around $258 or £170). Nokia just announced Nokia N1, the company’s first Android tablet through brand-licensing agreement with the OEM partner. It has aluminium unibody build, has a 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, similar to the Xiaomi Mi Pad, powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Nokia Z Launcher on the top, but it is not clear if this would have Google Play.
