After the first Nord 2 blast last week, which OnePlus said was due to external factors and not a manufacturing defect, another Twitter user earlier today posted that his father’s Nord 2 exploded, but he did not share any photos of the phone. Nord 2 Blast: OnePlus says it was due to external factors and not a manufacturing defect

On July 31st, a Twitter user posted an image of a burnt OnePlus Nord 2 that was 5 days old. He added that the phone blasted and smoke started coming out when the phone was inside a sling bag. In a reply to the user, OnePlus Support said that they are deeply concerned and asked the user to connect via direct message. After a couple of days, the original tweet disappeared, but you can see the screenshot of the cached version below.
