Gameloft’s popular game, N.O.V.A. 3 just went on sale on the Windows Phone platform as a Lumia exclusive. The game that clocks in at 1017 MB requires you to have close to 4GB of storage available before you can install it. Available on iOS and Android as well, it is a typical space themed 3D shooter that allows you to run, shoot, drive vehicles amongst other things. The LG Optimus Black which we got our hands on at Mobile World Congress has been available in India for some time now and now we have official confirmation of the launch with LG calling it the World’s Brightest Smartphone. The device is priced at Rs.20990 MRP and is available for around Rs.19990 in the market. The specialty of the Optimus Black is the 4 inch NOVA IPS LCD Display. LG Optimus Black
LG announced the Optimus Black at CES 2011 and we had a chance to play with this device at MWC 2011. The most interesting feature of the Optimus Black is the 4 inch NOVA display with a brightness of 700 nits making it one of the brightest mobile displays. The device is also incredibly thin at 9.2 mm and just 6.0 mm at one point. It also features WiFi Direct which means that you can transfer content with other WiFi Direct devices without the need of a wireless access point.
