OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T Android 10 stable update starts rolling out

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS version 10.0.0 based on Android 10 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. With this update, both the devices will get enhancements that are part of Android 10 features. Notably, this Android 10 will be the last update for both OnePlus 5 and 5T apart from incremental security and service updates for a stipulated period. IDC recently published its latest report with figures from Q4 2017 and the numbers tell an interesting story. With 48% market share, OnePlus is well and clear in the lead as it takes on the mantle of the most popular premium brand ahead of Industry stalwarts like Apple and Samsung.

OnePlus, one of the sponsors of Comic Con India that is happening in Bengaluru, just introduced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone at the event. This comes after the Lava Red OnePlus 5T that was introduced in China earlier this week. The OnePlus 5T was launched in India and other countries only in Midnight Black color. OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone earlier this month, which went on early sale in India on November 21st. Today the smartphone went on open sale in the country on Amazon.in, oneplusstore.in, select Croma stores and OnePlus Experience zones in Bangalore and Noida at a price of Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB version.

OnePlus just introduced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone at an event in  Brooklyn, New York as it had promised. It has a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and with DCI-P3 color coverage, compared to the 5.5-inch 1080p screen on the OnePlus 5 , but body is almost same. Since it has a large screen, it doesn’t have a home button and ceramic fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.
