OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 to OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro last month. Soon after the roll-out it temporarily paused the update since some users reported bugs. As promised the company has rolled out a new OxygenOS 11.0.0.2 hotfix update to fix the bugs. Both the Android 10 users and the users who have updated to Android 11 already will get the update. Update: OnePlus has also released OxygenOS 11 for the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 smartphones, and the changelog is the same.
After months of delays, OnePlus has finally started rolling out Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones. OxygenOS 11 beta had always on display feature, but the stable version doesn’t have it, but it might come in another update in the future. Some users are also reporting camera issues with the update, so it is not clear if the company will push another update to fix it. While OnePlus has already rolled out Oxygen OS 11 update based on Android 11 for the OnePlus 8 and 8T series, the Android 11 update for the one-year old 7T series is yet to come. Now, the company has stated that the Android 11 update has been further delayed to next year, due to some issues in the development cycle.
