After the Nord CE 5G and the Nord N200, OnePlus is said to be gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord 2, the company’s next mid-range smartphone and the successor to the first Nord. Now the CAD-based renders of the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a 6.43-inch punch-hole screen, same as the Nord CE, and this should be the same FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera part looks similar to the OnePlus 9 series. OnePlus India has started teasing the launch of new Nord smartphone on Amazon.in after posting a cryptic teaser on its social channels yesterday which said “something new is coming”. The URL of the image confirms it will be a new Nord phone, but company did not confirm the name officially. However, it could be the OnePlus Nord 2, successor to the OnePlus Nord that was launched last year. OnePlus Nord with Snapdragon 765G was introduced back in July last year. This year around the same time the company is said to introduce the Nord 2 smartphone, but instead of Snapdragon SoC, OnePlus is said to move to MediaTek’s latest flagship Dimensity 1200 6nm SoC that supports ultra-fast 168Hz refresh rates in FHD+.
