OnePlus One Android 6.0 Cyanogen OS 13 update in final testing stage
Few moths back OnePlus promised to roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 smartphones in Q1 2016. It released the OxygenOS 3.0 Beta based on Android 6.0.1 for the OnePlus 2 last week. OnePlus X Review
The OnePlus X is probably the first time that OnePlus has really deviated from their design language. Yes, the OnePlus 2 was different from the OnePlus One in a few obvious ways but the basic shape, ergonomics etc remained quite similar. While it did feel like an improvement, people could still probably tell that it was a OnePlus device especially when they touched the sandstone back. The OnePlus X on the other hand feels totally new. The design of the OnePlus X has both glass at the front as well as the back on the Onyx version and a Ceramic back on the Ceramic version.
ZUK Z1 Oak Wood special edition released
Looks like the similarities between the ZUK Z1 and the OnePlus One just keep growing as the Z1 now comes in a special edition with an Oak Wood finish back just like the OnePlus One which also came with a wood finish even though it was made of Bamboo.

OnePlus has partnered with Blowhorn, a Bengaluru-based intra-city logistics marketplace startup, to deliver OnePlus One smartphones in just 60 minutes of the order. If the handset is not delivered to the doorstep in 60 minutes the customer gets the phone for free, says the company. OnePlus One 64GB Sandstone Black now available on Snapdeal
OnePlus One was launched exclusively on Amazon.in in India. Back in June, OnePlus started selling the smartphone on Flipkart, today the company has partnered with Snapdeal to sell the smartphone. With Snapdeal’s vast network, the smartphone will be available for over 20 million registered users across over 5000 towns and cities, said the company. OnePlus One gets OxygenOS 1.0.2 update with Stagefright security patches, latest vulnerability not fixed yet [Update: Fixed in OxygenOS 1.0.3]
OnePlus released a minor Oxygen OS 1.0.2 update to fix Stagefright security exploit last week. But this doesn’t fix the latest vulnerability in the Stagefright library (CVE-2015-3864) that was reported last week. As you can see from the screenshot, this is confirmed by the Zimperium’s Stagefright Detector App that got updated to add detection of the latest vulnerability.
