Opera Mini for Android Download manager gets automatic music and video scanning, Facebook notification bar and more

Opera has updated its Opera Mini for Android that brings several new features. When users visit social media, MP3, or movie download sites, Opera Mini will automatically scan it for the direct download links under the Extreme Mode. The downloadable content will appear like a delicious buffet menu ready for their selection. This auto scan feature is now available on Facebook, Pagalworld, Tubidy, DJPunjab and a few others. The list will continue growing, says Opera.

Opera Mini 11 for Android Extreme and High modes

Opera has updated its Opera Mini app to version 11 that brings option to swtich between two compression modes, high and extreme. The High-compression mode offers richer experiences and to see webpages how they are supposed to look, without any hefty compression, but it still offers the old data savings, says Opera.

Opera Mini for Android v7.5 update brings Smart Page feature

Opera has updated the Opera Mini app for Android that brings the new Smart Page feature. This lets you view your favorite sites, latest updates from social networks (Twitter and Facebook), news gathered from your favorite sites (via their RSS feeds) and suggested links on the home screen. The Smartpage feature was available in the Opera Mini Next and Opera Mini 7 for BlackBerry, Symbian and Java Phones earlier this May.
