OPPO A55 with 6.51-inch HD+ display, up to 6GB RAM, 50MP rear camera, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 15490

OPPO today launched the A55, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the A series and the successor to A54 in India, as it had announced. It has a 6.51-inch HD+ punch-hole screen with 89.2% screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. Inside the punch-hole there is a 16MP front camera. It is powered by Helio G35 with up to 6GB of RAM, same as the predecessor, but this runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1. OPPO A55 with 50MP triple rear cameras launching in India on October 1

After confirming the launch of F19s smartphone on Flipkart on September 27th, OPPO today started teasing the launch of a new A series phones on Amazon.in on October 1st. Even though the teaser just shows the side profile of the phone and says it’s an A series model, this will be the OPPO A55. Even though OPPO already introduced the A55 5G in some markets earlier this year, the one that is launching in India next week will be a 4G model. OPPO A55 5G with 6.5-inch display, Dimensity 700, 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery announced

OPPO has announced A55, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the A series in China. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 700 with support for 5G SA/NSA, 6GB of RAM, runs Android 11 with ColorOS 7.2 11 on top, packs triple rear cameras that includes a 13-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel portrait camera sensor.
