Chinese brand OPPO has always produced hardware that punches above its weight. When we reviewed the OPPO F1 sometime back, we observed that it was an above average device which had a good balance of performance and hardware quality with design sensibilities thrown in for good measure. OPPO unveiled the F1 Plus smartphone at the F1 launch in India earlier this year. Today the company has launched the smartphone in the country, which is the same OPPO R9 smartphone that was unveiled in China last month. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 1.66mm ultra-narrow frame and 77.68% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. OPPO today introduced the F1 Plus smartphone in India along with the F1 at its Mumbai event. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and has 4GB of RAM compared to 5-inch HD display and 3GB RAM on the F1. It has a metal body, Octa-Core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), LED flash and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Color OS 2.1, similar to the F1.
