OPPO just launched its top-end R17 Pro smartphone in India as it had promised. After teasers, OPPO today confirmed that it will launch the R17 Pro smartphone in India on December 4th, and will start taking pre-orders from December 1st. It was introduced back in August and packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with a notch, 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection an in-display fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.41 seconds. OPPO R17 Pro with triple rear cameras, OIS, f1.5/f2.4 variable aperture teased in video

OPPO R17 Pro recently surfaced in an image that revealed triple rear cameras, now the company has officially confirmed it in a new video teaser. All the cameras are arranged vertically and the dual LED flash is present below that. The company also confirmed gradient back with 3D glass that shows a S-shaped curve when the light hits. It also offers matte finish, just like the one of the OnePlus 6.

OPPO R17 with 6.3-inch display gets certified, R17 PRO with Snapdragon 710, 3D face unlock surfaces

OPPO R17 with model numbers PBCM00 and PBCT00 has been certified and will be the successor of  R15 series that were introduced earlier this year, skipping the R16. This reveals a 6.3-inch display, which could feature 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display with a notch, dual rear cameras,  156.7x74x7.9mm dimensions and a 3415mAh battery.
