The ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 was launched just a while ago, at a pre-Computex keynote in Taiwan. The 7 inch tablet’s main USP is the price, which at 129$ for the base version is a steal. Coming in vibrant colours, the MeMO Pad has a 7 inch 1280×800 IPS screen with good viewing angles, unlike the ASUS Fonepad. Powered by a MediaTek quadcore MT8125 chip, the MeMO Pad runs on Android 4.2 JellyBean, which is currently the latest version of the popular software. After the event, we were at the presentation area, and we have brought you some photos from there.
We had reviewed the Nokia Lumia 720 earlier and had lauded the camera capabilities. We were so impressed by the low light performance that we decided to give it a go again and see how it fares in very challenging conditions. The Nokia Lumia 925 just launched at an event in London today, with a sleek aluminium design and a few software improvements for the camera. The 8.7 megapixel camera-toting Lumia 925 is almost similar to the Lumia 920 in terms of specifications, but the design, now with the aluminium build has changed a lot. You might have seen the Sony Xperia Z in the ads recently, and wondered why the purple one looks so unlike reality? Well, it’s rendered in CG and hence all you see are just fake reflections and colours. If you had read our Xperia Z review, you would know why we liked the waterproof aspect of this phone. We already had done a photo gallery too, but alas it was the white version. So, to show you the brilliant purple Xperia Z in its full “real” glory, we decided to take it out and give it a good look in front of our cameras. Asus announced the third generation of it’s Padfone called the Padfone Infinity today in Barcelona during MWC 2013. The Padfone Infinity is Asus’s first full HD smartphone and joins the 2013 lineup of full HD phones.
LG’s Optimus G Pro is a rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Both the devices are very similar in terms of design. Both have rounded corners, large home button and 16:9 ratio 5.5″ touchscreens.
