POCO F1 MIUI 12 Software Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 12.5 / 12.5 Enhanced not coming]

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo). POCO F1 currently runs Android 10 based MIUI 11, and is confirmed to get MIUI 12 in the coming months. Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in 20-40 days. Android 10 based LineageOS 17.1 Overview and First Impressions on POCO F1

LineageOS is a popular OS amongst custom ROM enthusiasts. LineageOS team recently announced LineageOS 17.1, which uses Android 10 as the base and dropped LineageOS 17.1 for quite a few devices including POCO F1, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 7Pro. Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018. Xiaomi announces MIUI 11 Global Stable Beta testing for various devices

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro back in October in India. The company claims to have rolled out MIUI 11 Global Stable update for as many as 27 devices in just 47 days in a 4-staged rollout schedule. Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018. The device runs MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 as of now. POCO F1 is confirmed to get Android 1o update but the company has not shared any timeline for Android 10 rollout but POCO F1 has one of the most active developer community. Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018.
