Sony XPERIA Z and ZL Pre-Order Prices revealed in India, shipping in March 3rd week

Flipkart recently revealed the pre order price for the soon-to-be launched Nokia Lumia 620, and today, they have done it again, by announcing pre order prices of the Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL which are slated to be announced tomorrow, at a special event. The pre order prices are listed as Rs 38,990 for the Xperia Z and Rs. 35,990 for the Xperia ZL. Flipkart also reveals that the estimated delivery would be 3rd week of March, from which we can safely assume that the retail launch will be some time around the exact time frame. The Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL were announced at the Consumer Electronics show in January and have been since much awaited in the Indian market.

HTC Flyer 32GB , 3G version Price Drops to Rs.23900 !

When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. It has now available for Rs.23900 on Flipkart and Rs.23990 on LeysBuy. Some retailers are still selling it at around Rs.35000. Sony Tablet S WiFi Version gets Priced in India

Sony India has revealed the price of it’s Android Honeycomb tablet the Tablet S on it’s website. As of now only the 16GB WiFi version seems to be on sale and there is no mention of the 3G version. The Sony Tablet S is already available in select Sony stores across the country. The MRP for this 9.4 inch Android tablet is Rs.29,990 according to the site. The device is powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 1 GHz processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Sony claims you can control your home devices using the Sony Tablet S as a universal remote. Samsung Galaxy Tab Price drops to Rs.24900 in India

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy Tab too gets a price cut, which is now selling for Rs.24,900 at Flipkart and other online stores in India. Initially the Android tablet was selling for Rs.38,000 when it was first launched, and then was reduced to 28k with the launch of the Apple iPad in India.

Apple iPad gets 100 USD Price Cut in USA

What Steve Jobs did not announce during the iPad 2 launch today was the price drop of the older versions of the iPad. While the new iPad 2 is going on sale at same old levels , Apple has shaved off $100 across  every model from last year. The base model is available now for $399 .

At the MWC, HTC officially entered the Android tablets ring by announcing their first ever Android tablet known as the HTC Flyer. HTC Flyer is a nice looking tablet and comes with HTC  Sense UI.
